Albertsons Companies LLC has voluntarily recalled its Signature Select, Athens, and Cal Pia brand bread due to the presence of foreign objects, specifically metal and plastic shavings. The ongoing recall affects products distributed in California and Nevada.The recalled products are the Signature Select, Athens, and Cal Pia brand Bread Butter White Bread 22 oz. loaf. The Signature Select Butter Top White Bread has a best-before date of 3/21/24 and a UPC of 2113019803. The Athens Select Butter Top White Bread and Cal Pia 100% Whole Wheat Bread both have a Julian Date of 062 and UPCs of 9999919803 and 9999900132 respectively. A total of 13,550 units have been recalled.
