9 months ago source cbsnews.com

Recall notice

New Jersey, United States

Supermarket chain Stop & Shop has voluntarily recalled several prepared chicken products sold at 18 of its New Jersey stores due to potential undercooking, which could pose health risks.

The recalled products include five varieties of breaded chicken chunks: plain, with buffalo sauce cup, with BBQ sauce cup, with sweet chili sauce cup, and with honey mustard sauce cup. The products were sold between February 2 and February 12, 2024. The affected products were distributed and sold at 18 Stop & Shop locations:

- 25 Kinnelon Rd., Butler
- 625 Paterson Avenue, Carlstadt
- 160 Kingsland Road, Clifton
- 1189 Broad Street, Clifton
- 400 Demarest Ave., Closter
- 20 Washington Avenue, Dumont
- 600 Kinderkamack Road, Emerson
- 816 Franklin Avenue, Franklin Lakes
- 380 W. Pleasantview Avenue, Hackensack
- 425 Lewandowski Street, Lyndhurst
- 500 State Route 23, Pompton Plains
- 175 Franklin Avenue, Ridgewood
- 130 Skyline Drive, Ringwood
- 5 Town Center Drive, Sparta
- 665 American Legion Drive, Teaneck
- 34 West Railroad Avenue, Tenafly
- 4 Union Avenue, Wanaque
- 1220 Hamburg Turnpike, Wayne
- 327 Franklin Avenue, Wyckoff

Customers who have purchased these products are urged to discard them immediately or return them to the store for a full refund. Undercooked chicken can lead to foodborne illnesses due to the potential presence of harmful bacteria like Salmonella or Campylobacter.

If you are experiencing symptoms after eating this product it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist seek medical attention.
