FDA announced that Trader Joe's is recalling their Trader Joe’s Egg Salad and Trader Joe’s Old Fashioned Potato Salad products due to the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. This recall originated after Almark Foods, recalled several lots of Broken Egg Whites products because they might be contaminated with Listeria. No Illnesses have linked to this recall to date.FDA advises consumers to discard these products or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. Products were distributed to Trader Joe’s retail stores in AL, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, NC, NE, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, VA, VT, and WI.
