####Update Sesame Seeds recalled due to salmonella####

Several more brands are recalling their Sesame Seeds due to a potential Salmonella contamination.

The Brands recalled are:
- Papamoa Spice King brand Sesame Seeds White (sold in bulk bin), Sold from 27 June 2024 up to and including 19 July 2024, The product is imported from India. The product is sold at Papamoa Spice King, Unit 2, 18 Gravatt Road, Papamoa.
- Qandahari Bazaar brand Sesame Seed (sold in bulk bin), Sold from 14 June 2024 up to and including 18 July 2024, The product is imported from India. The product is sold at Qandahari Bazaar, 1 Saint Jude Street, Avondale, Auckland.
- Mahadeo's Spices and Produce Warehouse brand Sesame Seed (sold in bulk bin), Sold from 5 July 2024 up to and including 19 July 2024,
The product is imported from India. The product is sold at Mahadeo's Spices and Produce Warehouse, 14 Virginia Avenue East, Eden Terrace, Auckland.

In a recent announcement, Several brands are recalling their Sesame Seeds due to a potential Salmonella contamination.

The Brands recalled are:
- Scrumptious brand Sesame Seeds, Best Before: 31 Jan 2026, The product is sold in a 250g plastic packet, The product is imported from India. The product is sold at RAW at Waiheke, 4 Putiki Rd, Waiheke Island, Auckland, and International Foods, 354b Church Street, Penrose, Auckland.
- Bare Refill Grocery brand White Sesame Seeds, Sold from 26/06/2024 to 19/07/2024, The product is sold in bulk food bin, The product is imported from India. The product is sold at Bare Refill Grocery, 401 Grey Street, Hamilton.
- Sesame Peanut Dressing 50g – 22/08/2024. The products were delivered through My Food Bag between 6 July and 20 July 2024.
- Gluten Free Korean Soy chilli Sauce 100g – 17/08/2024, 27/08/2024. The products were delivered through My Food Bag between 6 July and 20 July 2024.
- Korean Soy Chilli Sauce (50g, 100g) – 27/08/2024. The products were delivered through My Food Bag between 6 July and 20 July 2024.
- Korean Sticky Chilli Sauce 100g – 1/10/2025. The products were delivered through My Food Bag between 6 July and 20 July 2024.
- Creamy Roasted Sesame Dressing (50g, 100g) – 15/08/2024. The products were delivered through My Food Bag between 6 July and 20 July 2024.
- Wasabi Ginger Dressing (50g, 100g) – 17/08/2024. The products were delivered through My Food Bag between 6 July and 20 July 2024.
- Korean Sticky Chilli Sauce 100g – 27/12/2024. The products were delivered through My Food Bag between 6 July and 20 July 2024.
- Sprinkle Me, White Sesame Seed, The product is sold in a 10g paper packet. The product is imported from India. The product was sold through My Food Bag between 6 July and 15 July 2024.
- Grand Market brand Sesame Seed (sold in bulk bins), Product sold between 8 July 2024, to and including 18 July 2024,
The product is imported from India. The product has been sold at 1/2 Triangle Road, Massey, Auckland.
- Classic Taste brand Sesame Seed White (200g), Best before date: 30 JUN 2025, Batch: 1241, The product is imported from India. The product has been sold at Taupo, Kaitaia, Porirua, Auckland, Tuakau, Clive, Ngaruawahia, Rotorua, Napier, Hamilton, Matamata.
- Bin Inn brand Sesame Seed, Sesame Seed (sold in bulk bins and various sized bags and jars), Sold dates are 04 July 2024 to 18 July 2024. The product is imported from India. The product has been sold at Bin Inn stores in Bethlehem, Feilding, Hamilton East, Palmerston North, and Whakatāne.
- Apna Spice and Grocery store brand Sesame Seed, The product sold between 12 July 2024 to 19 July 2024. The product is sold in bulk bin. The product is imported from India. The product is sold at Apna Spice and Grocery store – 165 Great South Road Manurewa, Auckland.

Customers are asked to check the best before date on the front of the packaging. Affected product should not be consumed. There have been no reports of associated illness, however if you have consumed any of this product and have any concerns about your health, seek medical advice. Customers should return the product to their retailer for a full refund.
