Vitony Bakery Cakes - recalled due to undeclared allergens

Vitony Bakery, Inc. has voluntarily recalled its cheesecake and cheese-guava cake products due to undeclared allergens ( FD&C Yellow #5 and Yellow #6). The recall is ongoing and affects Domestic consignees only (Puerto Rico PR).

The recalled products are the Vitony Bakery Bizcocho de Queso (cheesecake) and Bizcocho de Queso y Guayaba (cheese-guava cake), both weighing 14oz (397g) and sold in cases of 12. The cheesecake batch includes 6,916 units, while the cheese-guava cake batch includes 6,706 units.

The recall was initiated on February 29, 2024, and classified by the center on March 8, 2024.
