The CFIA announced the recall of Great Value brand Chicken Burgers by Belmont Meat Products Ltd. because they may contain egg which is not declared on the label. There have been no reported reactions associated with the consumption of this product.The recalled product is:
- Great Value Chicken Burgers, 904 g (8 x 113 g), UPC: 6 28915 82529 9, Best Before: 2022 MA 01, 2022 MA 27, 2022 JL 06, 2022 JL 12, 2022 JL 17.
The recalled product has been sold nationwide in Canada.
If you have an allergy to eggs do not eat it, it may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction. Please throw it away or return it to the place of purchase.
