Recall notice

Whole Foods Market recalled raw beef and raw veal products due to E.Coli possible contamination

6 years ago source inspection.gc.ca

Canada

As part of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) food safety investigation on E. coli in various beef and veal products, it has been announced that Whole Foods Market is recalling several raw beef and raw veal products as these might be contaminated with E. Coli.

CFIA advised consumers that the recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the location where they were purchased.

The full list of recalled products is available on the CFIA website www.inspection.gc.ca/about-the-cfia/newsroom/food-recall-warnings/complete-listing/2019-10-19/eng/1571516610736/1571516611088

This recall is initiated after Ryding-Regency Meat Packers Ltd. and St. Ann's Foods Inc./Ryding-Regency Meat Packers Ltd. started to recall their products from food service establishments, retailers, distributors and manufacturers due to E. Coli concerns. As this is part of an ongoing investigation, additional recalls may be issued.
