six hours with those same symptoms. Then they stopped, and the diarrhea began. It lasted for FIVE DAYS! I had to sleep on a towel on the floor of my bathroom the whole time, using the shower to clean myself since after the first hour my rear was RAW from wiping. No chance to walk a block to see a doctor. Couldn't eat, just drank water for five days. It was PURE HELL!
I should have sent my pals to the doctor to come see me, but we didn't think of it. And I should have sent them to the Julen to get the curry soup ingredient list, but none of us thought of that either. This happened in Zermatt's MOST FAMOUS RESTAURANT! I'm certain they are still serving the same curry soup, though this happened in 2002. It may have been polluted in the kitchen by a worker, or I may have an allergy to an ingredient ... I don't know. If you visit there, BE SURE TO AVOID THE CURRY SOUP!
