Oatmeal Cereal Triggers Diarrhea - Aldi, State College Pennsylvania

Quaker Oatmeal Squares Cereal, My story is very similar to another reporter. I have had this cereal over the years without issue. Within 5 hours this caused diarrhea that lasted about 12 hours. I ate the cereal for 2 days in a row not knowing the exact cause of the diarrhea, but it stopped on the 3rd day when I had a different cereal for breakfast. I had a bowl of Quaker Oatmeal Squares Cereal for breakfast this morning and the diarrhea returned just after lunch time. | Symptoms: Diarrhea

I just discovered they were the source making me ill for months. I didn't pinpoint the cereal as the cause until now. I discovered they list the ingredient maltrodextrin , which causes all those symptoms you listed both immediately and longer due to wreaking ones gut bacteria.
