Toddler Vomits Post-Apple Juice - Apple & Eve Organic Boxed Apple Juice, Riverside California

1 month ago reported by user-fcbpm314

Apple & Eve Organic Boxed Apple Juice, Riverside, CA, USA

Riverside, California, United States

My grandson who is 2 1/2 years old ate 2 kids small breakfast muffins and drank 1 box of Apple & Eve’s boxed organic apple juice for kids this morning. 20 minutes later he said his stomach hurt and was was holding it. 10 minutes later he had projectile vomiting 2 times in the kitchen floor. I comforted him and cleaned him and everything up, and about 15 minutes he said he was hungry and ate the last 2 small kids muffins and drank a glass of milk and was happy and cheerful the rest of the day, no stomach issues at all. I rechecked the expiration date and it said May 2025. I checked online and that brand along with other apple juice brands and boxed kids juices was listed as a concern for arsenic traces. I called poison control and he h thought arsenic took longer for a body to react to so may be another deform of food poisoning. He gave me another number to report this and try to have the juice box tested. This was a scary experience and I was horrified to read the list of apple juice brands and kids’ juice box brands and mixed juices that have been tested and found to have levels of arsenic in them. And this was an alleged Organic product. According to the article I read being organic does not seem to matter here. Scary. | Symptoms: Vomiting, Stomach Pain
