On 10/08/15, I was at Arby's in Phenix City with my family (husband, daughter, son in law and gr. daughter). They each had roast beef, I had the chicken slider(1) for dinner. I woke up early morning of 10/09 with severe vomiting, diarrhea and fever. After trying to combat this condition with OTC remedies I was forced to seek medical attention on 10/11 at Jack Hughston Hospital ER in Phenix City. I was diagnosed as having NOROVIRUS gastroenteritis, which according to Dr. William Smith, MD. It was most likely what I had consumed for dinner on 10/08. I was given prescriptions for nausea, diarrhea and fever. The symptoms continued until 10/13 when I had to return to the same ER. I was seen by Dr. Robert Cobb, MD. who agreed with the initial diagnosis. As a result, I have lost 4 (10/09, 10/12, 10/13 and 10/14) days of work. I returned to work on 10/15 with continuing nausea and headache. I have incurred two ER co-pays of $150.00 in addition to what my insurance paid. I am still unable to eat a meal without becoming nauseated and have lost 11 lbs as a result of this incident. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Fever, Vomiting, Headache
