Broccoli Soup Causes Ailment - Au Bon Pain,

10 years ago reported by user-wvtdd111

Au Bon Pain
I ate Broccoli Cheese soup at approximately 11 a.m. I started feeling 'funny' almost immediately. Pains in my epigastric region started within 30 minutes. The pain kept getting worse by increments. I left work at 2:30 p.m. and was worried I'd make it home in time to prevent me from driving from the pain. I made it home and started vomiting. The stomach pains grew intense. Had a little diarrhea. Pain became intolerable. Had my son take me to the ER. After blood & urine tests, they diagnosed me with gastroenteritis. When I told them about the soup, they said the likely culprit was that soup. 2 days later and I'm still on anti-spasmotics, pain drugs and antibiotics. I plan to talk to management at Au Bon Pain. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain
