Aprox june 2021, stood at this resort and omg , about one day before the flight , I felt the worse Nauseous and diarrhea and vomiting. I didn’t drink the alcohol the only thing I ate was mostly the fish their sodas that never tasted like soda. Will not be coming back! rather pay a few hundreds more somewhere else except this place. On top of that nothing worked the doors , the phones, even restaurants were all booked so I early. A TOTAL NIGHTMARE | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting

Welcome to Bahia Esmeralda Disaster... same happened to my family, we all got sick and my daughter was admitted to emergency.. we spent 3 days in the hospital which cost us another $7000... when returned to the hotel we spoke with the managers to understand what the hotel could have done to prevent this situation; they told me I brought the diarrhea, nausea and vomit from my country (Canada).... I will never, ever come back again..... an interesting info I found... the owners of the hotel (Hotel Group) are also stake holders of the hospital... scary story.
