We arrived on Sunday, 8/15. By late Tuesday night on 8/17 I was feel nauseous and had terrible diarrhea. I’m thinking my sickness came from the Soy restaurant. We ate here both Monday and Tuesday afternoon. Or it could have been the ice or something. The drinks were very watered down. I don’t know what caused it but it forced me to go see my doctors yesterday, 8/19. We arrived back in the states late Wednesday evening and my condition took a turn for the worse. As much money as we spent on the Salt Cay villas, food poisoning should never be a worry. We did notice that they leave food out in the open which I felt was disgusting. They have a few cats on the property and pretty bug
geckos so that left me to believe they were very unsanitary. In addition to that the kids had their fingers directly on the chocolate desserts at the chocolate bar in the Italian Village. Like directly on the desserts. No supervision and they didn’t use the utensils provided to pick up their desserts. The island was beautiful but I will never return to that Resort again. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
