I purchased two salads from Publix on 8/26/24.I ate one salad on 8/26 and the other on 8/27. After lunch, I started having stomach ache and cramps, chills and nausea. I felt that way all afternoon and into the night. It was intense. I fought the urge to throw up but finally deiced to that night in hopes that I would feel better. I did not. Finally, around 10:00 p.m. I decided to go the ER because I just felt so awful. I felt weak and nauseated. The treated me, ran tests which all came back normal for everything else, but the doctor did say that I could very well be food poisoning. My stomach has been sensitive and bloated since and having cramps. Then today, 8/29/24 I was informed that there has been a deal in the news about Boar's Head meats causing food poisoning even leading to a few deaths. The salads I purchased were made with Boar's head meats and indicated on the packaging. I was not supposed to return to work until 8/30/24 but I cannot afford to miss that much work and a single parent. I missed a half day but sure wish I had the means to be able to recover comfortably from that experience. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Chills, Weakness, Bloating
