Purchased Boars Head Honey Coat Ham Approx first week of July 2024. Went home, spouse and I went to snack on it. It smelled different and odd. I ate a few slices but became put off by smell. Spouse Tasted it and was disgusted by it. Called the store to advise.

Next day. Went to Publix at Hickory Flat Road, purchased more of same, brand new ham opened, wife tasted it a bite just as I did. Again, it also tasted off, kinda rancid unlike any taste we knew from its norm that we’ve become accustomed too for many years. We said we just can’t eat this and decided to not repurchase even after it was sliced. I was thinking it was due to extreme outside temps perhaps making the ham rancid.

*Reason to this day, unknown. But did feel ill for many weeks afterwards. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea
