I got fairly severe food poisoning from the pre-prepared sandwiches at Caffé Notte in Florence today (December 28, 2023). When we arrived, the kitchen was already closed, so we ate several thin bread sandwiches that were pre-prepared with ham and another type with eggplant and cheese. I suspect the sandwiches were out for too long and developed some kind of bacteria. I fell ill (nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting) 45 minutes after we finished our meal. I’ve been sick for 6 hours at this point. Note that I have quite a strong stomach and very rarely develop gastrointestinal issues. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Gas
