Child's Severe Ice Cream Illness - Carvel, Yonkers New York

I brought my 7 year old for ice cream on Friday 6/7/24 after school. He had orange soft serve. About 3 hours later he began having profuse amounts of watery diarrhea which persisted over 10x per day for Friday and Saturday. The diarrhea continued on Sunday when vomiting also began. He became so dehydrated he required it fluids on Monday. He is still having diarrhea a week later, at least at a lesser frequency but it’s still too much for such a small person. He has lost 7 lbs! | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Fever, Cramps, Headache, Dehydration
