Lucky Charms Diarrhea Alert - Lucky Charms, Canary Islands

3 years ago reported by user-tdpt5888 business

Cereal Lucky Charms, Tenerife, España

Canary Islands, Spain

August-September 2022. My boyfriend's family brought me a box of Lucky Charms cereals from their last trip to Queens, New York. I ate them several times in the past but this time the cereal made me sick, mostly with diarrhea. The first time I ate 2 hole bowls so I thought it was my fault but a few days later I tried eating a small cup. I did this twice and it gave me diarrhea, so it is not the amount of cereal but the cereal itself. I dont have the box, they removed it to save space in the luggage, only the plastic bag.

They don't know where they bought the cereal since they were traveling in New York but also in other states (like Connecticut) and even Canada; although they stayed in Queens. My boyfriend's sister bought several boxes and several times. They already know what happened to me and will keep an eye out in case any of their family members who live in Queens develop symptoms, I have told them to keep the box to know the lot, to remember the store where they bought it and to contact the website to report possible outbreaks. Now I have no more symptoms but because I did a kind of "trial and error": the times I had diarrhea I had eaten cereal so I tried to eat little cereal (keeping my normal diet) to see if they were bad for me. They were, so I stopped eating them and have not had diarrhea since. | Symptoms: Diarrhea
