Ribeye Reaction: Vomit, Diarrhea - Chili's, Stockton California

11 months ago reported by user-jmkc2446 business

Chili's Grill & Bar, 5756 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, CA, USA

5756 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, 95207 California, United States

After placing an order (ribeye steak entree) on Monday of Feb. 17th. I ate in less than 15 mins & could feel something funny in my body & stomach. As a result, I vomited more than 7 times! The next morning I had been experiencing diarrhea for more than one day, & I didn't eat anything for almost 2 days! In addition, my daughter got sick & had diarrhea after one day. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain

Did your daughter eat from the same place or your leftovers? If not, it might not have been food poisoning. That sounds more like noro; especially with how quickly you became ill (with noro, you're usually sick/contagious a day or so before you start showing symptoms).

Hi! Thank you for your insight. Norovirus is a possibility, as it can spread easily, but foodborne illness can also cause symptoms to appear quickly, depending on the contaminant. We encourage those affected to consider all potential sources and consult a medical professional if needed. We appreciate your engagement! Best, Iwaspoisoned Support.

Sounds like noro since your daughter didn’t eat it, she most likely caught it
