On Thursday a friend & I dined at Chilli's in Plainville. We were only there about an hour... When our meal came we remarked that it looked questionable but we were starving so we gobbled it up. We live an hour apart, yet both woke up with the same symptoms on Saturday (fluid out both ends, body aches, dizziness, & as a result dehydration). I spent last night in the ER for hydration & had some additional testing done as a precaution. Anyway, I got home very late last night after being told that it was "rotavirus or a norovirus. You can catch one of these viruses by consuming contaminated food or water." I saw my friend for only 1 hour, in the restaurant, we both have the same symptoms, & live an hour apart -- neither of us knows anyone else who has been sick. I have notified the restaurant. i have also notified Plainville Board of Health. she had the soup & salad, I had the chicken fajitas. she drank lemon water, I drank iced tea. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Dehydration, Dizziness, Body Ache
