Severe Reaction: Mushroom Burger - Chili's, Knightdale North Carolina

6 years ago reported by user-wrkz1669 business

Chili's, Knightdale Boulevard, Knightdale, NC, USA

6605 Knightdale Boulevard, Knightdale, 27545 North Carolina, United States

On 7/31/2019 at around 7 pm I ate. Ordered and ate the mushroom burger. At around 1:30 am on 8/1/2019 I was awoken with the worst abdominal pains I've ever experienced. When I got out of bed the room seemed to be spinning and it was difficult to stand up. Called 911 and had to go to the from door of my apt. to unlock it for EMS to get in. After that I fell to the floor in front of my door and had the worst uncontrollable diarrhea I can ever remember experiencing. Eventually got up to head to the bathroom leaving a trail from the front door in my living room, bedroom and bathroom. Transported to the ER and spent rest of the night there. Put on IV for dehydration and medication to control nausea. Released from the ER around 7 pm and had to take a cab home. When I got home I started bleeding from the anus which continued for days. Went in to see my Internist the same day I was released from the Hospital ER. Based on the time I ate the mushroom burger and onset of symptoms he felt it was definitely food poisoning. The same day I had to hire a hazmat company to clean my apt., for real. Days later I still experienced blood in my stool. Went back to my Internist and had diagnostics done to determine the diarrhea irritated hemorrhoids causing the bleeding. Bleeding has stopped, no diarrhea, but still not entirely back to normal. Getting there though. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Dehydration, Stomach Pain
