My spouse purchased a box of Chocolate Lucky Charms from here. On the evening of May 3rd, 2022, I opened the box and consumed a bowl. On May 4th, I felt like my intestines were being squeezed and had a burning feeling. I took Maalox Max, but it didn't help ease the pain and discomfort. That night I fell ill with diarrhea and was in and out of the bathroom most of the night. The following morning I was nauseated and began vomiting. The diarrhea was still present, as was the pain. I took Emetrol and Pepto Bismol, but no relief. The symptoms continued and I saw my doctor on Friday, May 6th. I was prescribed Azithromyacin and told to continue the BRAT diet and to stay hydrated. I took the 3 day course of antibiotics and it seemed to work. The nausea and diarrhea subsided on Monday May 9th. I went back to my doctor for an all clear to return to work. To this day I am still experiencing pain in my liver and light colored stools. I was the only one in my household to eat Lucky Charms and I was the only one that was sick. #LuckyCharms | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting
