We stopped here as we were driving from Newport News, VA to DC 5/19/24, 2:45pm. I wanted to get a coffee. I ordered a Hot Caramel Macchiato, an Old Fashioned donut and a Vanilla Headlight cream filled donut, my husband ordered a Boston Kreme donut. I had already posted my review, less than lukewarm coffee, and commented had this been the first donut I ever had, I would not eat another one! Little did I know, the worst was yet to come! After I ate the donut and coffee, it felt like it just ser heavy in my stomach. Before we got into DC, I was experiencing nausea and stomach cramps. Shortly after arriving in DC, I am throwing up! The first time, we were in a place we could pull the car over. The next wave we were not so fortunate! I ended up throwing up in the car and covered in puke! We got to our hotel, thank goodness the Best Western had outside entrances to the rooms! I continued to throw up until food was completely out of my stomach. Then I felt chilled and shakey and went to bed! We had an early morning flight back to WA State. The next morning, I felt 'hungover', though I had no alcohol. I was feeling great before I ate the donut and coffee and was trying to figure out how I got sick from a donut??!! I am assuming from the lack of attention to detail in getting served less than lukewarm coffee, spilled over in complete disregard for health and safety measures within this Dunkin Donut, inside a gas station. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Chills, Gas, Shaking
