Butter Croissant Illness Suspected - Dunkin donuts, Newburyport Massachusetts

4 months ago reported by user-pbcxh626 business

Dunkin', Storey Avenue, Newburyport, MA, USA

70 Storey Avenue, Newburyport, 01950 Massachusetts, United States

I'm not exactly sure if it was this or the meal I had at Longhorn last night but given that I only began having this reaction after eating a plain buttered croissant this morning I'm going to guess it's from this. Got horrible stomach pains and nausea on the ride to school, I tried to hold out until I got there but eventually I couldn't take it and had the driver pull over to the Mobil Mart in Wakefield, where I preceded to violently throw up in front of the entrance because there isn't a bathroom there. To whoever witnessed me puke my guts (and the unchewed bits of my croissant) out I am so sorry. I bought a pack of Motrin and downed them like candy afterward, it took an excruciating hour to kick in but after that I was out in the nurses office for most of the day. I had a similar incident at a different nearby Dunks back in July, both of the incidents involve items with egg in them so I will be finding and then contracting their distributor to find if there's a potential issue with the eggs they're using. I am hesitant to buy anything other than drinks from them after this. Very bad experience!! | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Fever, Cramps, Chills
