Scallops Cause Night Vomiting - Fager's Island, Ocean City Maryland

7 years ago reported by user-jhqv3712 business

Fager's Island, 60th St, Ocean City, MD, USA

201 60th St, Ocean City, 21842 Maryland, United States

My boyfriend and I had dinner this past Saturday night at their so called "fine dining" restaurant. My boyfriend ordered the scallops and was up all night vomiting! The quality of the food was very far from fine dining. The mashed potatoes were cold and tough, the green beans were like chewing rubber the scallops were clearly old or undercooked, glad I didn't order an entree myself since I'm pregnant and could've ended up sick. I stuck with soup and salad which was not great. After doing some research about Fagers Island I saw an article that 145 people got sick from an oyster festival last year! If I saw this article prior to Saturday night there would have been no chance of stepping foot in there. A restaurant with their price point should be serving quality seafood. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting
