Ferme Orléans Inc. is recalling its duck sausage due to undeclared mustard, posing a risk to those with mustard allergies. The product was sold at the company's location in Saint-Laurent-de-l'Île-d'Orléans and other establishments in the National Capital Region.The recalled product is:
- Labeled "Duck Sausage"
- Was sold in variable sizes in clear plastic bags, frozen.
- All batches lacking a mustard declaration on the label are affected.
The issue was identified by the Quebec Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ) in collaboration with the company. No allergic reactions have been reported to date. The recall was published on December 11, 2025, and was classified as Class I, initiated as a precautionary measure.
