Jerk Chicken Illness Lingers - Grand Palladium, Lucea Hanover Parish

I became sick over thanksgiving 2018 with severe stomach cramping, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, ect. I got food poisoning from the jerk chicken ordered through room service within hours of eating it. Visited the on-site nurse to document it but she dismissed it as, "not being use to the native foods & over eating". I could not eat anything for the remaining 9 days of my trip except rice, bread, eggs & bland foods. It is now April 18, 2019 & I have yet another doctor appointment tomorrow as the Drs are still trying to determine exactly what it was I contracted while there as I continue to have extreme intestinal problems ever since. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Cramps
