Shrimp Dish Causes Illness - Guará I QE 4 Ceará Carne de Sol Guara I - Guará, Distrito Federal

Had lunch at this restaurant, ordered their special appetizer and rice with shrimp. About 4 hours after eating, had sudden and serious vomiting episodes lasting about 4 hours. Intermittent diahrrea during the same amount of time. Luckily by 8 hours after I was feeling better albeit weak and with chills. Could not keep plain water down but juice seemed to be ok.

I suspect the shrimp dish, it came in a creamy type sauce with the rice. Very disappointed to have gotten ill from a well-established restaurant. Have been living in Brasilia for 3 months frequenting all types of establishments from corner hotdog stands and lanchonetes to regular restaurants and this is the first time I have gotten food poisoning.
