Couscous Salad Illness - H-E-B, Katy Texas

8 years ago reported by user-jpbzk431 business

H-E-B Grocery, South Mason Road, Katy, TX, United States

1621 South Mason Road, Katy, 77450 Texas, United States

From the HEB deli, I got a couscous salad with feta cheese, tomatoes and spinach. It says it's enough for 3 servings. I ate one serving as soon as I got home from the store, then put the plastic container in the refrigerator. The following day, I ate the rest for lunch. By dinner time, I was hit with diarrhea and nausea. This quickly turned to projectile vomiting, chills, then high fever and severe body aches. For two days, I felt like I was dying. I still have a headache and feel a bit green, but I'm feeling much better. Someone should check the temperature or cleanliness in the deli because something went terribly wrong there. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Headache, Chills, Body Ache
