Vegan Bar Causes Vomiting - Co-op, Hendersonville North Carolina

I drove an hour to Hendersonville to get some grains and legumes. I bought a vegan yoga bar from their deli. I ate it on the way home. Approximately 1 hour after eating it I threw up for about 30 minutes straight. I can't even remember the last time I threw up and haven't even been sick in over a decade. I called the manager twice on Monday, the day after, and left messages explaining my concerns. I never received a call back. I'm wondering if some of the other snacks I got from the deli there are safe. This food costs a lot of money but I'm scared to eat any of it now. I can only imagine that it was cross contaminated with pathogens from their meat. I will probably never eat from their deli again. I love this place though they do have great produce so I will definitely continue going for my grains, greens, legumes, and potatoes. But that deli area I'm going to stay away from! To follow up on this, today is Wednesday so it's been 3 days now. My wife who ate the same thing as me on Sunday with the exception of the one item that caused me food poisoning did not get sick. And I've not had any symptoms since. So this definitely seems to have been food poisoning from that deli. | Symptoms: Vomiting
