Deli Wrap Causes Illness - Jason's Deli, Frisco Texas

4 years ago reported by user-vkyr1121 business

Jason's Deli, Texas 121, Frisco, TX, USA

This past Friday, I went to urgent care in pain. I had on and off pain since last Monday and couldn't take it anymore. I couldn’t stand I was holding my stomach and decided it was time to get checked. It was hard being in the room by myself, I was hooked up to an IV, blood drawn then had an EKG and ct scan. Doctor trying to see what was wrong. Everything was else normal but my white cell count leading him to bacteria and ct scan with my intestine. Turns out I had apparently ate bad food. I didn’t know how that was possible because my family and I all eat the same food and even when we do take out, we stick in the oven just to heat it up again to kill off any bacteria before we eat it. We started doing that in the beginning of COVID to be extra careful. Except for that one time that I went there for lunch and ate an organic turkey wrap. That was on a Sunday after church and then the next day on Monday my stomach was hurting but I didn’t put it together. All last week I had on and off stomach pain and a bit of nausea but when the pain didn’t go away I knew it was time to go to see a doctor. When I told him about the turkey wrap I ate and pain starting the next day he said it could be because deli meat. It is common at restaurants such as this to get food poisoning because of the storage of their deli meat. I have 5 prescriptions to take for the next 7 days Antibiotics, pain meds and nausea. So no more this for me! | Symptoms: Nausea, Other, Stomach Pain
