Ate about 2 T JIF crunchy peanut butter at approximately 4pm EDT 16 June 2022. Began vomiting 4am EDT 18 June 2022. Symptoms worsened. Bed-ridden Sunday 19 June 2022. Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, headache, fever, chills, generalized ache. Slow improvement over next week, with complete cessation of symptoms on 25 June 2022. Discovered jar of JIF I ate was from batch with possible salmonella. Jar of JIF purchased there. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Fever, Headache, Chills, Other

Id follow up. JIF was recalled about a month or 2 ago. All JIF products were taken off shelves nationwide

That's what I thought but my wife and I opened a jar we bought a couple of weeks ago and we both started feeling sick. just on a whim I checked and yup, a contaminated jar. Not sure what to do... hoping it passes but these stories worry me.
