March 13, 2022..became violently ill with explosive diarrhea. Every 15 to 20 minutes for 12 hour periods. I was too sick to eat. A problem because I’m Diabetic. I’m a 71 year old female and live alone. After 2 doctors, and a trip to the hospital I was put on Xifaxan, 550mg, 3x a day for 2 weeks. A cost of $850.00. It is May 20th, and I’m just beginning to slowly eat solid food. I still am very lethargic with no appetite, and some diarrhea. I’ve lost 18 pounds. Started at 130…now 112 pounds. I’m 5’1. I have 2 jars of the Jif recall. I’m the only one that ate it. Peanut butter is a good source of protein for diabetics. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Weakness, Loss of Appetite
