KFC Meal Sparks Severe Illness - KFC, Norwich England

11 hours ago reported by user-znyz6938 business

KFC Norwich - Sprowston Retail Park, Salhouse Road, Norwich, UK

10 Salhouse Road, Norwich, NR7 9AZ England, United Kingdom

I ordered KFC boneless banquet on Saturday evening, and spent literally all of Sunday on the toilet. I didn't notice anything unusual about the chicken, as in it wasn't noticeably pink however it was covered in sauce so I can't be sure. It was my only meal I had that day so the illness literally couldn't not have been caused by anything else. Within 1 hour of finishing my meal I was shaking and feverish but I just thought it was due to the temperature in my house. I couldn't sleep on Saturday night because I was so feverish and on Sunday morning I was hit with the worst headache, delirium, fatigue, nausea and stomach cramps and diarrhoea- the worst I have ever had in my life. I weighed myself this morning and I lost 5 kilos of weight overnight due to fluid loss caused by the non stop diarrhea. Even the smell of food was triggering an urge to immediately go and evacuate my bowels it was the most miserable weekend I've ever had. I cannot believe how bad it was. I thought I was gonna have to go to a&e because I was losing so much fluid. I had to call in sick to work today because I was afraid it'd continue (it eased off a little bit but still having cramps/ less severe diarrhoea). Really really bad.
