Friday 02/17/2023, I ate a large serving marie callender turkey pot pie- with in the hour I experienced extreme chills and severe body aches! Never thinking it could be food poisoning because there was no vomiting although I felt nausea and no diarrhea! As evening fell to night I began to run fever and ultimately finished off Friday night in severe chills, body aching, headaches, feverish mess! Thinking I may have flu or covid or even a uti; my desperation trying to self diagnose, I took extremely hot baths , rested, drank plenty of gatorade, cranberry juice, hot tea, and water- I was still in full blown missery!Monday, 02/20/2023, I saw my primary care provider all test possible were run and all negative; I retraced my steps of what I was doing.just before I became violently ill- Marie Callender Turkey Pot Pie! And because I had no nausea or diarrhea- I've been carrying poisoning in my gut for 4 days; today I took a laxative to purge. Still feeling miserable in the gut, onset of stomach ache today just before I decided to purge! | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Fever, Vomiting, Headache, Chills, Body Ache
I am currently experiencing the same issues after ingesting a Marie Callender Turkey Pot Pie. I had the same symptoms 2 weeks ago and couldn't narrow down what had made me sick as I cook for the recommended time. I ate the second of the two Turkey Pot Pies I had purchased at King Soopers (Kroger) back in January. This is no doubt Salmonella food poisoning as I know the symptoms and have had it before over the years. My current symptoms include constant and extremely sharp stomach pain, body aches, fever, headaches and light headedness. Symptoms can last 3-4 days to a couple week depending on severity. #mariecallenders #kingsoopers #kroger #turkey #potpies #colorado
