On June 16th I stopped at a convenience store (2240 Encinitas Blvd) and picked up a bag of Lay's Salt & Vinegar potato chips. The "guaranteed fresh" date on the bag said July 18, 2023, so the bag certainly was within "fresh" deadline. I ate half the bag, then went to sleep. I woke up a few hours later with a terrible rumbling in my gut, feeling nauseated, and having cold sweats. I rushed to the bathroom, and for the next hour my body purged the Lays via both diarrhea and vomiting. At one point, I felt so bad that I considered calling for an ambulance. The worst of it was over after an hour, but it's been 36 hours since that and my gut is still not fully recovered. I will NEVER eat Lays again. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Sweating
