Food Safety Report - Lucky Charms, Winslow Township New Jersey

2 years ago reported by user-yhvyy559

Lucky Charms Cereal, Amazon, Sicklerville, Winslow Township, NJ, USA

Winslow Township, 08081 New Jersey, United States

It wasn’t until after the second time eating Lucky Charms from this particular box and having diarrhea and strong stomach pains that I started suspecting something wasn’t right, and it so happened to be within an hour of eating the cereal but I ignored it. Then at about 2 weeks ago, I either heard it on the news or read the subject line of an online article but did not pay much attention to it because my box was still new and with an expiration date of Feb 2023. I’m lactose intolerant and have acid reflux which I take medication for as needed, and I eat my cereal with Silk or Lactaid. After my 3rd time eating LC I made sure to eat it that time with Lactaid milk but I had another episode and I started thinking it’s the Lucky Charms. After my 4th time, this evening, I can definitely confirm it’s the Lucky Charm. My 17 year old has not had an symptoms. Took pictures of the expiration date and serial numbers.

I bought it from Amazon. I have never had a problem with LuckyCharms or from this place but this particular batch came out bad. Here is the link to the actual item I ordered... Lucky Charms Gluten Free Cereal with Marshmallows, 26.1 OZ Giant Size Box | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Stomach Pain, Acid reflux, Bloating
