In the kitchen, the price of a gallon of milk was about $1.35 and Ronald Reagan launched the Strategic Defense Initiative. One year before the famed year of Orwell’s 1984, I was armed with but a spoon, a bowl, and a serving of Lucky Charms…Charming? Well if you consider green diarrhea and purple vomit for a week magical then maybe…Lucky? Hmm I was hospitalized due to dehydration from the Illness. I was four years old and like some of these other brave citizen scientists I did not swear off the cereal for life or anything but with a bit of trepidation do I bring my spoon to mouth. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Dehydration
