Food Safety Report: McDonald's, East Chicago Avenue, Chicago, IL, United States.

I ordered a regular cheeseburger but ended up with a double cheeseburger inside a cheeseburger wrapper. When I got back to my job, I realized that the burger wasn't what I ordered and it was a burger that they fixed for someone and they didn't give it to them. Instead of them giving me my right burger, they just threw me that one that was sitting there for a while. I ate it cause I was on my lunch break and I didn't have time to go back to exchange it and I got sick later on that day. I went to Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri and they claimed that it wasn't a way to tell if I had food poisoning and I know that is a lie. I need some advice on what I should do about this cause I had to miss work cause I was too sick to go and I felt like I was dying cause I was in a lot of pain. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea

Actually a stool sample will usually let you know what the cause might be. McD's not only takes logs of their temps but they cook straight from frozen and throw out any "old" food after 30 minutes. You got sick from somewhere else.
