Child Illness After Cheeseburger - McDonald's, Libertyville Illinois

9 years ago reported by user-wmdc5147

McDonald's, North Milwaukee Avenue, Libertyville, IL, United States

1330 North Milwaukee Avenue, Libertyville, 60048 Illinois, United States

My Son began vomiting about 2 hours after eating a cheeseburger and fries at this McDonald's. 24 hours later he is having trouble standing up (feels weak) and has a fever of 101 degrees. Chills, Fever, Weakness, Vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration.
I called the store and spoke with a gentleman named Tico, who would not give to a manager, and claimed he was second in charge. when i told him my story, he seemed quite unconcerned. He wanted me to "come into the store tomorrow" and fill out some kind of report. I asked why would I need to take care of a problem that his store created, he said he wanted me to fill out an "incident report" . I asked why he could not simply take my "incident report" over the phone right now, and stop serving the dangerous food immediately, and he had no answer. He said the actual manager would not even be coming in for "a couple weeks". I then asked if he planned to continue to serve food from the same batch of food supplies (i reported exact time and store location) and he said that he would not answer that question. We don't know whether to go to the emergency room or not. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Fever, Vomiting, Dehydration, Weakness, Chills
