Qtr Pounder Illness Suspected - McDonald's, Maddington Western Australia

3 years ago reported by user-hxrmj811 business

McDonald's, Olga Road, Maddington WA, Australia

Olga Road, Maddington, 6109 Western Australia, Australia

I purchased a McFavourite box on the 11-Mar-2022 at ~ 17:25 which consisted of chicken nuggets, x4 medium fries, x4 qtr pounder burgers, x2 medium chocolate shakes and x2 600ml water bottles. I also purchased x 2 hash browns. My husband and I ate the meal as soon as I got home from work. Immediately after consuming the meal I felt nauseous, upset stomach, head began pounding, was sensitive to light and eventually vomited multiple times throughout the night. My husband also felt nauseous and a slight upset stomach but no vomiting. We thought the qtr pounder tasted slightly off and had a funky smell which we thought was just the cheese. Today I woke up and still feeling nauseous, weak with slight headache and upset stomach. This is the first time we had this reaction from this place in Maddington. We normally purchase meals from time to time and have been ok. Perhaps they need to check and ensure that the meat patties they use are within expiry and/or stored correctly at the right temperature. The remainder of the meal have been discarded, hence, money wasted - really disappointed. I won’t be back there for a while… | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Headache, Weakness
