Chicken Meal Causes Illness - McDonald's, Winnipeg Manitoba

2 years ago reported by user-dfdnf297 business

McDonald's, Sage Creek Boulevard, Winnipeg, MB, Canada

25 Sage Creek Boulevard, Winnipeg, R3X 0J3 Manitoba, Canada

Cramps, diarrhea, vomitting, headache, chills, unsteadiness
Date. 20 October 2023
Time. 16:30 local time
Onset of symptoms. 17:50
We, my son and I, went around 16:30 20 October 2023. We purchased a junior chicken meal with large fries, Diet Coke and a McDouble no pickles. The chicken was covered with sauce and barely any lettuce and the chicken seemed soggy. I had attributed the sauce to the sogginess. However, it tasted off and I couldn’t finish. At 18:20, with increasing stomach discomfort/cramps and on the way home from Sage Creek, I had to pull into Sobeys to use their washroom. I vomitted and had diarrhea. It took 17 minutes before I stopped vomitting and expelling diarrhea. I felt sick, drained and weak. I will have to call in sick and be deducted money I can ill afford to lose. I have a pounding headache and shaky legs. It’s awful. I’m 50 years old and a single mother and I really cannot ever think of eating McDonald’s again. I will definitely be telling my friends and coworkers to avoid McDonald’s and especially Sage Creek. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Cramps, Headache, Chills, Shaking
