Food Safety Report: McDonald's, Whitemarsh Island, Georgia, United States.

McDonald's, Whitemarsh Island, Georgia, United States

On 09/21/2017, My children and I ate chicken nugget meals along with french fries, etc. My oldest (8 yrs old) is a chicken nugget fan lol and he hardly touched his meal that evening - which is so unlike him. He told me he did not like them, and voila he was not affected by any symptoms of food poisoning. My middle child (3 yrs old) hardly touched her chicken nuggets either; just ate the fries. However, me and my youngest (1-1/2 yrs old) ate the chicken nuggets and fries and drank the Coke that came with our meal. I ate a 10 piece and he nibbled on 2 chicken nuggets, no fries and dumped his Coke on the floor lol. On 09/22/2017 our symptoms started. First, my 1-1/2 year old started vomiting and I could see the little white bits of chicken in his vomit. He had a fever and also lots of diarrhea, which subsided today. I never vomited, but felt extreme nausea and horrible pain from my sternum to my navel. I still have the pain on and off as I type this. I had horrible and extreme episodes of diarrhea, "projectile diarrhea" is what it should be called. I spent the whole day in bed alongside my little one on 09/23/2017. We are just starting to feel better now. Our diarrhea has decreased as of today. Horrible, HORRIBLE experience! Our first time with food poisoning and I am terrified of eating out (especially McDonald's!) EVER again. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise and we are all better off cooking our OWN food OURSELVES! | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting
