My wife and I are staying at Mitsis Blue Domes once again. Unfortunately, this time we both independently experienced clinical signs of food poisoning after eating fruit from the buffet and a pita wrap at the beach area. The symptoms indicate infection with the enterotoxin of S. aureus or B. cereus. Diarrhea and vomiting cost us both more than half of our trip. Infection outside the hotel can be ruled out, as we only ate there. As I am a doctor by profession, I can make the diagnosis for both of us. Further internet research reveals that this does not seem to be an unknown problem at the hotel. I am now wondering whether the Greek health authorities should be called in to investigate the problem more closely. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
