Burger Odor, Digestive Distress - Nation's Giant Hamburgers, Pleasanton California

8 years ago reported by user-rdywp357 business

Nation's Giant Hamburgers, Hopyard Road, Pleasanton, CA, United States

5321 Hopyard Road, Pleasanton, 94588 California, United States

On Wednesday, November 8th, 2017 I ate a double bacon cheeseburger, with ranch from Nations Giant Burgers in Pleasanton, California. About halfway through I could tell something was wrong with the burger as it smelled of a sharp poignant smell on the way home, and old wet rags, or like an old used sponge while consuming. I stopped eating and threw it out. That night I was having some loud digesting, and the next morning Thursday, November 9th, 2017 I am abruptly awaken by intense abdominal pain/cramping, inability to hold in my waste, and nausea. It occurred to me that I was having diarrhea. I did some searching online, can pretty much confirm I’ve experienced a milder/short case of diarrhea, just waiting for my doctors possible confirmation. I know that nothing else I ate could’ve caused this and I don’t have any prior experience with diarrhea so I am confident that the 2/3 of the burger I ate had caused this. There were red flags before I ate the food as well as I had watched them prepare it. I noticed that the ranch was old because the first little cup she filled up was watery and the nozzle was dried over. Also, the cook was using the same spatula to flip meat, cook eggs, and cook all the other stuff on the grill. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Cramps
