Tamuning, 96913 Guam, Guam

New Choi's Restaurant in upper Tumon was shut down Wednesday after inspectors found signs of rodents and cockroaches.

The inspection was conducted in response to a complaint regarding rodent droppings, live cockroaches and termites spotted in the dining area, as well as other insects in the facility, according to an inspection report by the Department of Public Health and Social Services' Division of Environmental Health.
Evidence was found to support the complaint, the report states. Inspectors found:

numerous dead fruit flies and flies throughout the dining area;
four dead cockroaches and four rodent droppings behind the window-wall decoration in the dining area; and
frass, or insect larvae droppings, on a shelf with wooden serving plates.
