On October 7, 2023, I had not consumed any food throughout the day, and I was feeling perfectly fine. At around noon, I met up with my father and his wife in Overland Park, Kansas, and we decided to have dinner. Our choice was Olive Garden, where we dined at around 5:00 PM. Around 8:00 PM, I began to experience the first symptoms, including nausea and extreme bloating, although I initially didn't consider them too concerning. Later, at around 10:00 PM, I drove back home, but I felt as if I had spent the evening drinking, even though I had consumed no alcoholic beverages. I went to sleep, but around 2:30 AM, I was suddenly awakened. My initial thought was that I might be experiencing acid reflux, attributing my discomfort to gas. However, within a split second, I realized that I couldn't retain the contents of my stomach. I rushed to the bathroom, but as soon as I stood up, I began vomiting uncontrollably, with some of it ending up on the floor before I reached the toilet. Afterward, I started to feel slightly better, but then I experienced severe diarrhea. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Bloating, Gas, Acid reflux
