Food Safety Report: Panera Bread, Troy Road, Rensselaer, NY, USA.

I just discovered this website so this report is belated and apologies that I can’t tell you the date except to say it was in the later half of 2017. I had been feeling perfectly fine until I had onion soup from Panera. Within a few hours I had explosive diarreah and terrible abdominal pressure. I carefully thought about what I had eaten that day: only non perishable foods from home that I had previously eaten safely. I concluded the soup was the culprit. The next morning I called the store and reported this incident to the manager. My husband charged the soup and other items on his credit card, btw. The manager did seem concerned about my complaint. I am struck by reading the Many Panera complaints on this website and how many of them are SOUP related. Hmmm. I can’t since bring myself to eat at panera again. Too bad. Thanks for the opportunity to share. I hope someone at Panera will investigate. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea
