Food Safety Report: Papa John's.

13 years ago reported by user-cjty1715

Papa John's
On Thursday 1/21/2013 I ordered a lrg pepperoni pizza, with pineapple, mushrooms and onions on half, and a 16 piece order of BBQ chicken wings. This was wrounf 12 noon, so i was the only one at home, and had planned to give it to my 6 year old son , and my husband later that day for dinner. I ate a piece of pizza, and felt ok, but then I opened the chicken wings. Right off the bat, they looked kind of odd, but i had never ordered wings from Papa Johns, so I figured it was ok. I ate 2, then on the 3rd one. it tasted really weird, I smelled it, and then BINGO! I immediately spit it out and had to run to the bathroom, because my stomach started hurting, and the taste and smell made me feel like I needed to vomit. This continued all night, my husband wanted me to go the the ER, but I really did not want to. I am starting to feel a bit better this morning, but WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN. OH and I called the customer service line, and when I told the lady that I thought it was food poisoning, she automatically became defensive and said, well No, it couldn't be because it takes 24 hrs, and does not occur that quickly. In my past experience, it can take less than 30 mins to get symptoms, is this correct? UG! I think of chicken wings, and I want to gag! | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting
